Luke Acker

Luke Acker is a singer-songwriter from Ozark, MO who is known for catchy originals and taking requests at his live shows, covering songs from all genres and decades. You can tell he has a wide range of musical influences from his original music as well and is hard to put in any one box. His last album "Money Isn't Everything", released in November 2022, certainly puts the variety of his songwriting capabilities on display!

Luke Acker started playing acoustic guitar in high school with the goal of turning his poetry writing into song lyrics. He played his first paid gigs in high school as a two man acoustic group, calling themselves  "Retirement Plan". In 2005, he formed and became the front man of the band, Jam Room, which played for thousands of people across the state of Missouri  and were even named the "Best Band in Springfield" by GO Magazine before they split up in 2010. Since then, Luke Acker has been playing as a solo one-man band. In 2012, he submitted an online audition to Simon Cowell's show The X Factor and was selected from 100,000+ online submissions to perform in front of 5,000 people in Kansas City for the celebrity judges, including Demi Lovato, Britney Spears, and famous producer L.A. Reid! He recorded several albums in the years that followed which he sold himself at shows until 2017 when he released the "Luke Acker - Live at Wiseguys" album worldwide, which was recorded for his hometown crowd in Ozark, MO.

Since releasing the last album "Money Isn't Everything" in November 2022, Luke Acker has been playing live shows to happy crowds at over 100 different venues across The Ozarks, and beyond, having performed in 6 different states. He has also been seen and heard by thousands from his 15 TV appearances on "Ozarks Live" on KOLR10 & Ozarks Fox, and now "Unscripted" on Fox49. Luke Acker auditioned for Applause International in July of 2024 and was invited to perform at The ARTS Showcase in the beautiful Isle Of Palms, SC in January 2025. He got to perform in front of so many industry professionals, casting directors, and agents that represent singers, actors, models, and dancers, as well as attend countless workshops to help further his craft. He competed in many acting categories in addition to singing and placed 2nd overall in Singing and also 2nd overall in the Improv acting category! In addition to that, he was awarded a full scholarship to attend The ARTS Summer Showcase in Orlando, FL this last July, which is their biggest showcase! Since then Luke has signed his first recording contract with Burndt Donut Records and has been working hard on recording his debut studio album "Quite Alright", which he will be dropping later this year;  had one of his original songs featured in the YouTube film "Dropouts";  became the 1st Place Winner of Branson's Got Talent at the Hamner's Variety Theater in Branson;  opened for the Hamner's Unbelievable Variety Show; then headlined the "Hamner's All American NYE Show" at their theater; and most recently, released his first single from the new album, "Vacation", worldwide on April 22nd, 2026!
